With Costimiser, an Artificial Intelligence platform developed by Habber Tec, DS Smith can predict key paper quality characteristics during production that previously could only be verified through laboratory testing once manufacturing had been completed. This capability enables real-time decision-making, reduces energy consumption, minimises machinery wear and continuously improves both product quality and overall production efficiency.
