19 Feb UCI’s artificial intelligence solution is in the news
The Phy-Digital-Pid project of the Unión de Créditos Inmobiliarios (UCI), in which Habber Tec collaborates, has been in the news for a few weeks, due to the innovation it represents for the real estate sector in Spain.
The EuropaPress news agency was the first to publish and was followed by media such as La Vanguardia, Teleprensa, COPE and Bolsamanía. All of them highlight that the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI) has granted UCI 662,000 euros to finance this project, due to its innovative nature and commitment to the creation of new jobs. “UCI will implement AI through IBM’s Watson technology to automate and streamline one of the most critical and important moments in the mortgage granting process. Thus, home buyers will be provided with a binding decision in real time and will be informed of the reasons that support the decision issued” they review.
UCI’s forecasts include presenting the project during the first three months of 2020 and gradually implementing it in the financial company’s decision-making throughout the year. The UCI Development, Technology or Credit Scoring teams are working on the project, with the support of the consulting firm Habber Tec for the application of Watson technology and machine learning models.
For its part, the digital media Byzness published a related story titled “Artificial Intelligence will decide on your mortgage”, in which it explains that the project consists of developing a system that automates the decision of a mortgage loan using artificial intelligence tools and rule management tools. “The solution combines two mathematical models that use machine learning techniques with a system of rules to ensure compliance with the company’s risk policy,” according to statements by José Antonio Borreguero, director of Informatics at UCI.
Habber Tec is proud to work with UCI in this transformative project that allows them to lead their sector through technological innovation.
