20 Aug Habber Tec presents its demo of Automation and AI
Can you imagine a business solution for your organization that integrates process automation with robots or artificial intelligence? This is what Habber Tec showed at the IBM Business Automation 2019, which took place on June 19th in the center of Madrid.
The presentation was started by Ricardo Argüello, Managing Director of Habber Tec Spain, who was in charge of explaining the newest thing that the technology company is doing in the world of digital automation and artificial intelligence.
“With the incorporation of artificial intelligence, what we are doing in different business areas is invoking Watson’s cognitive services. For example, analysis of personality within personnel selection processes, in other cases, incorporating intelligence into software robots so that they not only extract information from their sources but also to perform functions with cognitive capabilities, such as helping to define what type of information are trying to categorize it. ”
José Azorín, director of architecture and solutions at Habber Tec, continued, presenting the demo that he developed in conjunction with Nicolás Espinoza, a company’s consultant, to show the capabilities of the different tools on the IBM automation platform; such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Datacap (Data capture), ODM (automated decision making) and BPM (Business Process Management) as well as the artificial intelligence services Watson Assistant, (chat bots, natural language processing, and algorithms machine learning).
“By complementing automation solutions with artificial intelligence, we can create virtual agents with capabilities superior to what each of these would give us. In the end, it is to complement the human being who has the experience and capacity, eliminating repetitive tasks that in one way or another do not add value”, José explained.
Two Habber Tec clients also participated in the event, these are the Universidad Europea of Madrid and Prosegur, who described the advantages provided by the technological solution developed by Habber.
Pedro Morcillo, CEO of the Universidad Europea for Spain and Portugal explained: “We have incorporated a Business Process Management (BPM) tool, developed by Habber Tec, to improve our processes which are aimed at the student community. Above all, in the issue of agility to have a better response capacity and in the union/simplification of small processes; eliminating bottlenecks”.
Luis Sánchez Sampere, IT Architect at Prosegur, assured that the company is in a period of digital transformation that affects all areas of the company. “Habber Tec has been our partner to develop the process that manages the entire surveillance cycle for Spain and for the entire organization in general. We have systematized the process, which at times had communication problems between the different areas involved. We now have accurate information at every point in the process. So we have end-to-end traceability and improve the information we give to our customers.”
The networking of the event was accompanied by the spectacular views of Madrid’s roofs and tall buildings, offered by Espacio Aster.
